Hello, amazing readers!

I'm excited to present my top book picks from this summer with all of you today!

If you didn't already know, I absolutely love books. Besides my family, nothing brings me more joy than immersing myself in the pages of a good book. It's truly my greatest passion. However, I have to confess that my relationship with reading wasn't always this enthusiastic. In my younger days, I used to procrastinate on book reports, rushing through pages to complete my assignments hastily. To all my former teachers, I sincerely apologize! Looking back now, I can only imagine how evident my lack of effort must have been, considering the grades I received.

My love for reading blossomed when I turned 21 and started dealing with anxiety. During that challenging period, I explored different coping mechanisms, and at my aunt's suggestion, I decided to give reading another chance. She had a collection of books, including Nicholas Sparks' "The Lucky One," and after watching the movie, I felt compelled to read the book. I was completely engrossed in the story and finished it in just 2 days. This experience completely transformed my perspective on reading. Subsequently, I dived into "Divergent" by Veronica Roth, drawing comparisons to its film adaptation, which sparked my interest in dystopian novels, becoming my preferred genre at that time. Through dystopian literature, I discovered the allure of young adult books, which have now become my favorite genre. I have a deep love for fantasy books. They transport me to magical realms and immerse me in their captivating narratives. Recently, I've also developed an appreciation for romantic fiction. This summer, I've been thoroughly enjoying a series of gripping romance novels, finding them delightful, heartwarming, and incredibly engaging.

Exciting news - I intend to share detailed book reviews on the blog soon! Just a heads up, there may be spoilers, so proceed with caution. But for now, let's explore some of the most captivating romance novels of the season!

It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover - Link (Affiliate Link)

Get ready for an exciting journey with one of the most talked-about romance novels of the moment! The recent movie adaptation featuring Blake Lively has generated significant interest in this book. I was truly impressed by its depth, exceeding all my expectations. While it beautifully depicts the chemistry between the characters, it also delves into complex themes, distinguishing it from typical light-hearted romances. This book tackles some very serious and challenging events. It's not a fairy tale, yet Lilly's story is so captivating that you'll feel torn between wanting to shake her and wanting to embrace her at the same time.

It Starts With Us by Colleen Hoover - Link (Affiliate Link)

Prepare to immerse yourself in the compelling sequel to It Ends With Us! This remarkable book takes you on a journey through Atlas's perspective, stirring up a whirlwind of emotions. Brace yourself to be carried away as you navigate between admiration and frustration towards the intricate relationship between Atlas and Lilly. You'll find yourself questioning "WHY?" and perhaps shedding a tear or two. This novel delves deep into Lilly and Atlas's past, unveiling the pivotal experiences that shaped them in the first book. Get ready for an emotional rollercoaster that will leave you breathless!

Happy Place by Emily Henry - Link (Affiliate Link)

One of the standout highlights of my summer reading has been the enchanting tale of Harriet and Wyn's relationship. The story revolves around a couple who unexpectedly break up just before their annual trip to Maine with friends. During their getaway, they are compelled to share a room in the cottage to conceal their breakup, leading to delightful interactions between the two. This narrative beautifully explores the themes of love and friendship, illustrating how time and life changes can influence relationships and the potential for unintentional drifting apart. However, it also underscores the positive aspects of growth, showing that while people may grow apart, they can also come together in new and unexpected ways.

Things We Left Behind by Lucy Score (Book 3) - Link (Affiliate Link)

I have a confession to make. I accidentally read the final book of the series before the others. Nonetheless, I was captivated by it. The dynamic between Lucian and Sloane is incredibly intense. They truly have the most compelling rivalry! As you follow their story, it's hard to decide who you're rooting for in their conflict. Sloane is a captivating character, showcasing exceptional independence and a spirited nature. She never backs down from a challenge. Meanwhile, Lucian exudes a rebellious aura but possesses a kind heart. It's impossible not to fall for this duo. I still need to read the first two books, which focus on different couples introduced in this book. I highly recommend reading the series in the correct order. LOL

Love and Other Words by Christina Lauren - Link (Affiliate Link)

This narrative doesn't hold back on emotions. It delves into the themes of love and loss, evoking a range of emotions from happiness to sorrow. Macy and Elliot's journey unfolds a tale of companionship and an unexpected love story. By seamlessly shifting between past and present, the novel provides deep insights into the characters' personalities and motivations. Get ready to be completely absorbed in this captivating story. This book captivated me so much that I was compelled to explore more of Christina Lauren's works. Her ability to captivate and hold the reader's interest throughout the story is truly impressive. If you enjoy this one, I recommend checking out "The Unhoneymooners" and "The Paradise Problem." Both are fantastic reads!
