Hey Everyone!
So, keeping with last week's blog's fall theme, today I am going to share some fun fall crafts and activities for the littles at home.

Fall Suncatchers
This is a super fun and easy craft. We used the below kit from Amazon, and they turned out so cute. The kit has everything you need: tissue paper, the outlines, and double-sided tape. Suncatchers are a great way to bring some autumn colors into your home. Hang them by the window and watch sunlight create beautiful patterns and shadows.

Torn Paper Pumpkins
This is a super easy craft for the kiddos and usually you will have all the necessary supplies already in your home. You will need a mix of colors of Construction paper, a glue stick and some scissors. Cut a pumpkin out of construction paper. Then cut out a bunch of little square pieces of construction paper in many colors. Let the kiddos glue the colorful squares onto their pumpkins. This activity not only encourages creativity but also helps children develop their fine motor skills.
Mini Pumpkin Balancing Race
Grab some painter's tape and mini pumpkins. Make some lines on the floor with the tape for the kiddos to try to walk along while they balance the mini pumpkins on their heads. This game is not only entertaining but also promotes balance and coordination. You can even turn it into a friendly competition with prizes for the winners. For the adults playing, make sure to keep your hands behind your back to make it more challenging.
Leaf Blower Race
This activity will bring laughter and excitement whether using fake or real leaves. Set up a finish line and watch as the racers blow through the straw to move the leaf to the designated spot. It's a great way to incorporate a little friendly rivalry and fun into your fall festivities.
Candy Corn Sticks
This game is a perfect combination of fun and skill-building. Players use chopsticks to transfer candy corn from one plate to another within a time limit. It's a great way to improve hand-eye coordination and concentration while enjoying a sweet treat. You can adjust the difficulty level by varying the number of candy corns or the time limit.
Apple Stacking
Challenge your stacking skills with this apple stacking game. How high can you stack the apples within the given time? It's a test of balance, precision, and patience. This activity is entertaining and a great way to work on hand-eye coordination and motor skills.
Looking for some more fall-themed activities to keep the little ones entertained? How about organizing a nature scavenger hunt where they can collect different colored leaves, acorns, or pinecones? You can also try making leaf rubbings using crayons and paper to create beautiful leaf patterns. Another idea is to bake some delicious pumpkin muffins together and enjoy the warm, aromatic treats on a cozy fall afternoon.
For a more adventurous activity, consider taking a nature walk to observe the changing colors of the leaves and teach the kids about the beauty of the fall season. You can also create a DIY bird feeder using pinecones, peanut butter, and bird seeds to attract feathered friends to your backyard for some birdwatching fun.
Don't forget to capture these precious moments by taking photos of the kids engaged in these fall activities. You can create a scrapbook or photo album to preserve these memories for years to come. Fall is a wonderful time to bond with your little ones and create lasting traditions that they will cherish forever.
So, get creative, have fun, and make the most of this magical season with your family. Happy crafting!
Warmest wishes, Christy
